Sisi accepts Kuwaiti loan to fund Tunnel-Sharm El-Sheikh Road

The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi released a presidential decree, green lighting a second Kuwaiti loan to fund the construction of the Tunnel-Sharm El-Sheikh Road project, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Thursday, June 4th citing the official gazette.
The KWD 26 million (84 million U.S. dollars) loan agreement is part of the Sinai Development Programme agreed by the Egyptian government.
The 342-km-long road is planned to include three lanes in each direction.
