Uganda adds 15 new positive COVID-19 infections


(MENAFN) On Thursday June 4th, Uganda's ministry of health confirmed 15 more novel cases of coronavirus, carrying out the total figure of virus cases in the country to 522.

The Ministry explained that out of the 1,086 tests composed from cross-border goods truck drivers and communities over the past 24 hours, six Ugandan truck drivers and 12 associates and attentive cases tested positive for the Coronavirus.

In addition, Ministry accounted that 33 foreign truck drivers who have tested positive for Coronavirus and were sent back to their own countries.

The ministry of health added that other than the 522 Coronavirus cases, 82 have improved and been accordingly discharged from hospitals.
