576 more COVID-19 infections reported in Oman

The health Ministry of Oman said on Tuesday that 576 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus, increasing the total number of coronavirus infected patients across the country to 12,799.
All of the newly diagnosed patients, 209 Omani nationals among them, have been infected through community contacts, according to a statement released by the ministry.
The statement also said that 130 more patients have recovered from the disease, which has increased the total number of coronavirus recoveries across Oman to 2,812 as nine more patients have died, raising the total number of deaths to 59.
The ministry has urged the population to follow quarantine rules, avoid public gatherings or worhsip places, and make sure of the public hygiene.
