UAE's total COVID-19 cases rise by 596 to 35,788


(MENAFN) The combined figure of the confirmed COVID-19 cases that have been reported in the United Arab Emirates as of Tuesday has jumped to 35,788, after 596 more patients tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours,

All of the newly-confirmed infections, who are from different nationals, are said to be in stable health condition and are currently being offered medical cure, according to a confirmation made by the country's Ministry of Health and Prevention.

According to the ministerial statement, 88 more patients have made full recovery from the virus, taking the tally of the UAE's recoveries to 18,726.

Meanwhile, the national death toll due to the COVID-19 pandemic has totaled 269, including 3 fatalities confirmed in the stated period, officials from the ministry revealed.
