The General Statistics Office of Vietnam said on Friday that the turnover of imports and exports in Vietnam dropped 3.8 percent and 1.7 percent in the starting 5 months of the ongoing year 2020 in comparison to a year earlier.
The turnover of exports came in at a total of USD99.4 billion while the turnover of imports stood at USD97.5 billion in the cited period.
The largest importer from Vietnam in the period was still the United States with a turnover equalling USD24.6 billion, China followed with USD16.3 billion while the European Union came in third with USD12.9 billion.
The largest exporter of Vietnam was China with a turnover of USD28.9 billion, South Korea followed with USD17.3 billion while the Association of Southeast Asian Nations came in third with USD11.8 billion.
