gGhana reports total of 7,303 COVID-19 infections


(MENAFN) On Thursday, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) announced that a number of 186 new patients were confirmed as positive COVID-19 cases earlier in the day, with the combined tally of cases rising to 7,303.

Meanwhile, no more deaths caused by the COVID-19 were recorded in Ghana during the past 24 hours, with the national tally of related fatalities remaining unchanged at 34, whereas the overall record of patients who have won the battle against the deadly virus jumped by 95 to 2,412.

According to the GHS, the West African country has so far reported a total of 4,857 active COVID-19 infections.

Ghana has closed its entry points to prevent new foreign comers from getting into the country, as part of decisive measures aiming to curb the spread of the merciless coronavirus throughout the nation.
