COVID-19 cases in Yemen rise to 249


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Yemen affirmed the existence of 16 new coronavirus cases, increasing the overall number of people tested positive for the virus in the country to 249.

Unfortunately, as many as 5 cases were passed away, pushing the death to to 49, according to the Yemeni Health Ministry statement.

The registered number of completely cured cases in Yemen has hit 10, it added.

It is worth mentioning that the Yemeni authorities have imposed several measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
