Myanmar reports total of 199 coronavirus infections

The health and sports Ministry of Myanmar said that six more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country on Wednesday, which has increased the total number of coronavirus cases across Myanmar to 199.

According to the ministry, all of the newly reported patients are from the region of Yangon who have been quarantined as they had history of travel in the earlier 14 days.

The report added that a total of 108 patients have recovered from coronavirus as 98 of them were discharged from hospitals for now across Myanmar.

Myanmar saw a total of six coronavirus deaths by Wednesday since the virus was first reported in the country on the 23rd of March 23.
