Mongolia confrims 19 more COVID-19 cases

The National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD) of Mongolia said on Thursday that 19 more coronavirus cases have been reported in the country, increasing the total number of COVID-19 infections across the nation to 61.

NCCD head, Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, said in a press conference that 18 out of the newly reported cases are Mongolian citizens have have came back from Russia on Wednesday.

Adding that the 19th diagnosed patients is one of the 261 Mongolian citizens who have been evacuted on a chartered flight from European countries suffering from coronavirus ourbeaks on the 3rd of May.

The entire 61 coronavirs cases in the country are imported, 4 foreigners are among them, 15 people have recovered from the disease so far in Mongolia, the 4 foreigners are among them.
