Ukraine- Electricity prices for population to remain unchanged in 2020 PM Shmyhal
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Cabinet of Ministers does not plan to increase the electricity tariff for the population in 2020, according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"We are not going to change the cost of electricity for the population this year," Shmyhal said at a meeting of the Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services on May 12.
According to him, this is an important indicator, which has been agreed with the President of Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities denied reports about the alleged increase in electricity tariffs and called on the media not to spread false information.
