Kyrgyzstan adds 21 more COVID-19 infections


(MENAFN) The combined tally of the positive COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan has risen to 1,037, after 21 more patients tested positive for the virus over the last 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Among the newly-confirmed, three were imported, including two from Russia, and one from Dubai, according to a statement issued by Deputy health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev.

The overall number of the COVID-19 infections reported among the healthcare personnel has jumped by 6 new cases to 241, with 186 of them considered as recovered.

Since March, Kyrgyzstan has recorded a number of 14 pregnant women infected with the virus, with all of them having treated appropriately, the official added.
