Ukraine- Occupied Crimea confirms 328 coronavirus cases

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Nine new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the occupied Crimea over the past day, bringing the total number to 328 cases.

According to the "head" of the occupying power in Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, five doctors and four patients of the Saki town hospital got infected with coronavirus. All of them now stay under observation, the Crimean Human Rights Group reports.

Four new COVID-19 cases were reported in Sevastopol. All patients were in contact with previously infected people; they stayed in the city infectious diseases hospital.

As of the morning of May 11, 126 COVID-19 cases are registered in the city of Sevastopol and 202 cases in the rest of Crimea. Overall 328 coronavirus cases have been officially recorded in the occupied Crimea.

The Crimean Human Rights Group underscores that the level of COVID-19 diagnostics in Crimea, including the city of Sevastopol, remains low, so the official data on the number of coronavirus cases are not consistent with the reality.
