UAE weather: A hot and sunny day in store today

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A hot and sunny Saturday is in store for the UAE, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) says.

Weather conditions in Dubai on Saturday will be clear and sunny with moderate winds.

Temperatures are due to peak at 34degreesshortly after midday, accompanied by gentle breezes of up to 21kilometres an hour.

Abu Dhabi will enjoy a similarly nice day of clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are forecastto be slightly hotter, peaking at36degreesin the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 18kph.

The NCMis predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but said there is the chance of some fog and mist forming in coastal areas.

The weather bureau said humidity will increase by night and into Sunday morning.

Night-time temperatures could drop to around 27degreesin Dubai and Abu Dhabi during Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday morning.
