Brunei's coronavirus infections remain unchanged at 141
(MENAFN) The overall tally of patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Brunei has remained unaffected at 141, as zero more cases were confirmed over the past 24 hours as of Saturday.
Meanwhile, the figure of active cases who are currently receiving treatment at the National Isolation Center is still 8, whereas the overall number of cured COVID-19 patients maintained at 132, as no new recoveries were reported compared to the previous day, the country's Health Ministry announced.
Two patients are now in serious condition. One of them needs extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and respiratory aid, and only one case requires respiratory assistance. The remainder of them are in a stable state.
The ministerial official figures also revealed that the death toll from the most infectious disease in Brunei still at 1.
