13 new patients test positive for COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan


(MENAFN) The overall tally of the confirmed COVID-19 infections in Kyrgyzstan has jumped on Tuesday to 843, as 13 more patients tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the merciless coronavirus infection claimed one more life in the Central Asian nation, lifting the total record of deaths related to the pandemic to 11, reporters cited Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev as announcing at a press release.


Usenbaev mentioned that the newly-confirmed cases included a health worker.

He further included "In total, 217 cases of coronavirus were registered among medical workers, with 150 recoveries."

As of now, 232 people are being handled in health facilities while 917 others are under medical surveillance in Kyrgyzstan.
