Jordan- No COVID-19 cases reported inside Kingdom, only one at borders: announces MoH


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 3 (Petra)-Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, announced that no new Covid-19 infections were recorded inside the Kingdom on Sunday, while a case of a driver of Arab nationality coming via the Jaber border was registered, who was denied entry to the Kingdom.
No Covid-19 recovered cases or any deaths were recorded in the Kingdom today, he said, adding the patients receiving hospital treatment remain unchanged at 64 cases, while the caseload stands at 461.
During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management this evening, he added the total number of 84, 593 tests have been conducted os far since the beginning of the pandemic crisis.
4 million face masks were provided to the civil and military consumer corporations, he said, adding the factories would start producing additional quantities to be pumped into the local market to meet the citizens' needs.
