2 new coronavirus cases registered in Uganda, 81 in total
( MENAFN ) On Wednesday, the Ugandan health ministry affirmed the existence of two new coronavirus cases, whose one of them is a Burundian refugee, increasing the overall number of people tested positive for the virus in the nation to 81.
The ministry highlighted in a statement that the health bodies conducted 2,002 coronavirus tests, two of them came back with positive results.
It is worth mentioning that the cases caught the infection as a result of contacting with previously announces patients including the Burundian refugee who traveled from the nearby Tanzania.
Both cases are receiving the needed medical treatment at at Rakai Hospital in the central border district of Rakai.
