Mongolia first reported coronavirus case in Mongolia recovers

The National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD) of Mongolia said on Monday that a French citizen, who is the first coronavirus case reported in Mongolia on the 10th of March, has recovered.

Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the NCCD, said during a press conference that "As a result, the number of the total recoveries from COVID-19 in the country has reached 10,"


The official also added that the country has performed 161 coronavirus tests on Sunday and they all came back negative.


He added that Mongolia has reported a total of 38 coronavirus cases as of Monday, four foreign nationals among them, and they were all imported.
