Laos reports no more COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN) The total number of patients who have tested positive for the merciless coronavirus in Laos has remained unchanged at 19, as zero additional cases were reported over the last 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Reporters cited Lao Deputy Minister of Health Phouthone Meaungpak as announcing in a daily news update on Wednesday, ''The total number of COVID-19 case in Laos remained at 19, as no new case was confirmed."

The confirmed 19 COVID-19 cases were the only to test positive for the virus among a total of 1,461 tests conducted by Wednesday throughout the nation since the first case was detected.

Four of the total cases have walked out of hospitals after showing improvement, as the first patients were reported recovered as of Last Tuesday and the second discharged cases was announced last Thursday, whereas the remaining two recoveries have walked out of the provincial hospital in Luang Prabang province were they were being treated as of Wednesday.
