Kenya: landslides kill 6
(MENAFN) On Monday, Kenyan officials stated that as many as six people, two of them are Kenyan police officers were murdered as a result of landslides at the northwest's West Pokot-Elgeyo Marakwet border occurred after flooding on Saturday.
Rift Valley regional commissioner George Natembeya informed Xinhua, "One officer was found dead while a second one succumbed to injuries after he was airlifted for specialized treatment at Moi Referral and Teaching Hospital in Eldoret."
