Vietnam reports 268 COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN) The combined tally of the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Vietnam has jumped to 268, as one new patients tested positive for the virus early on Thursday morning, the country's Health Ministry announced.


Based on the most recent ministerial report, the newly-confirmed case was reported from the northern Ha Giang province for a girl aging 16 years old.

The ministry further included that the total figure of patients who have been discharged form hospitals after recovery has reached 171 across Vietnam, whereas no lives have been claimed so far by the COVID-19. It added that other 310 suspected cases were reported with more than 68,000 being monitored and quarantined by Thursday morning.
