Doha: QIIB yesterday announced the launch of its Corporate Cash Deposit Cards which allows the bank's corporate customers to make cash deposits round the clock in specific ATMs across the country.
QIIB has urged its corporate customers to use the various alternative channels provided by the bank for making cash deposits.
The new card is linked to the company's account with the QIIB and allows the card holder to directly deposit cash in the ATM without the need to visit the branch.
As the card is exclusively used for cash deposits, and in order to eliminate all risks related thereto, the cardholder cannot inquire about the account balance or carry out any withdrawals or transfers.
In a statement, QIIB Deputy CEO Jamal Abdullah Al Jamal, said: 'We have efficiently invested in alternative channels that now provide various options to our corporate and individual customers. In fact, our customers can now benefit from most banking services without the need to visit the branches. These are the new generation services that we worked on to provide to various categories of our customers.
He added: 'The Corporate Cash Deposit Card is a qualitative addition to our corporate alternative channels that are constantly being enhanced. We hope that our customers use the card and the other services that we provide through alternative channels, especially in today's circumstances that require concerted efforts from the bank and its customers.
This is in order to achieve everyone's interest and at the same time keep the highest levels of safety, which definitely necessitate, the use of alternative channels in the field of banking, instead of visiting branches to avoid gatherings. Gathering is no longer required with the alternative solutions that we provide, including this new card.
Al-Jamal also stressed that QIIB is keen to facilitate customers' access to the cash deposit card by following simple, easy and fast procedures at QIIB Corporate Branch at the Grand Hamad Street, after they have filled in the prescribed form available on the bank's website.
It may be noted that in February, QIIB launched its upgraded version of the corporate online banking platform with innovative features. The upgraded platform opens up new horizons for the bank's corporate customers who can benefit from exceptional banking services that meet their aspirations in terms of various business solutions.
