Merciless coronavirus spreads to 363 people in Horn of Africa


(MENAFN) The overall figure of the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Djibouti has risen to 363 as 65 more patients tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.

The east African country’s Health Ministry announced a number of 407 laboratory tests have been conducted across Djibouti in the last 24-hour period.

On Monday and Sunday, the horn of Africa recorded a number of 83, 28 confirmed COVID-19, correspondingly.

The Ministry further declared that, by now, the total figure of patients who have died due to the COVID-19 amounted to two, while the tally of recoveries reached to 53 all over the nation.

According to the Ministry of Health, Djibouti has so far conducted about 5,356 COVID-19 tests since the first case was confirmed on March 18.
