34 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Iraq


(MENAFN) 34 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Iraq, taking the total number of infections to 1,352, according to the Iraqi Health Ministry.


As said in a statement by the ministry, between the new cases were 14 in the capital Baghdad, 15 in Basra, four in Sulaimaniyah, and 1 in Erbil.


The statement added that, until now 76 have lost their lives from the COVID-19 and 640 healed.


The Iraqi authorities have taken many procedures to control the spread of coronavirus, including extending a nationwide curfew until April 19.
