(MENAFN) Kyrgyzstan's Health Ministry announced on Thursday the total number of the confirmed COVID-19 cases has jumped to 280, as 10 more patients tested positive for the virus during the past 24 hours.
The overall figure of COVID-19 related infections among medical personnel has also risen to 34 across the nation, as two workers in the field were among the recent cases, reporters cited Deputy Health Minister Mademin Karataev as saying at a press briefing.
Further more, ten of the total confirmed cases are in serious condition, with five of them are held in the ICUs at local designated facilities, according to the minister.
He added that the death toll from the most infectious coronavirus disease has amounted to four so far, while the total tally of recoveries now hit 30.
