2 new coronavirus cases registered in Sudan, 14 in total


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Sudan's Health Ministry affirmed the existence of two new coronavirus cases, increasing the number of infected people in the nation to 14.

The ministry stated in a statement, "Epidemiological reports of the Federal Ministry of Health have confirmed two new cases of infection with the coronavirus in Khartoum State, bringing the total to 14 until Tuesday."

It highlighted that one of the cases belongs to a Sudanese man who is in his 70s, and he has no travel history or a history for being in contact with previously announced cases.

The other one is for a Sudanese man, in his 40s, who caught the infection as a result of contacting with a previously confirmed case.
