Palestine records 9 new coronavirus cases, total to 226


(MENAFN) 9 new cases infected with the novel COVID-19 were registered in Palestine, taking the total number to 226, as Palestine reported.


According to Kamal al-Shakhra, director of the primary health care department in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the new cases are from Ramallah, Jenin and towns of East Jerusalem.


He also said that, the health ministry is discussing to close the hospital which is visited by the infected patients with coronavirus before transported to a specialized center.


He asked people to stay at home in the next weeks; "the situation is not safe."
