Arab Fund for Economic, Social Development to provide Jordan grant of USD3.2 million


(MENAFN) Jordan will be granted USD3.2 million to help its efforts in confronting the coronavirus outbreak by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).


The grant from the Kuwait-based pan-Arab development finance institution, plans to support the Jordanian government cover the costs of offering critical requirements to fight the COVID-19 and control its spread, according to Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Wisam Rabadi.


Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation will keep on holding video and web gatherings to mobilize support from foreign countries and donors, as said in a statement by Rabadi.
