Afghanistan total coronavirus cases increase to 91

Wahidullah Mayar, Public health Ministry spokesman in Afghanistan, said on Friday that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 91 as 11 new cases have been registered in the country.

The official said that eight of the new registered cases are in Herat province, two are in Nimroz province while the last is in Nangarhar province.

The official said that a total of 976 coronavirus tests were made since the outbreak of the virus in the country in February, 91 of those have tested positive for the virus.

Two foreign diplomats along with four NATO-led Resolute Support mission service members that are stationed in the country have also tested positive for the virus.

The official added that a total of three of the patients have died and three others have recovered of the disease.
