Coronavirus cases in Burkina Faso rise to 33

(MENAFN) On Thursday, the National Coordinator of the response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Martial Ouedraogo, proclaimed at a press conference the existence of six new coronavirus cases in Burkina Faso, increasing the total number of confirmed cases in the nation to 33.
Martial Ouedraogo affirmed, "33 positive cases confirmed in Burkina Faso on March 19 in which 31 in Ouagadougou, one in Bobo-Dioulasso and one in Hounde. Among the 33 positive cases, there are 18 men and 15 women."
According to the health Ministry, in the 9th of the current month, Burkina Faso has announced the existence of the first coronavirus infection in the country.
