Coronavirus cases in Oman rise to 39


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, the Omani Health Ministry affirmed the existence of as many as six new coronavirus cases in the nation, increasing the number of confirmed cases in the country to 39.

The ministry highlighted in a statement that all the cases are Omani nationals, two of them are in hospital to receive the needed medical treatment while the rest were instructed to isolate themselves in their houses.

It added that the new cases were connected to travels to other nations that see outbreak of the coronavirus such as Spain, Iran and a Gulf country.

The ministry emphasized that at least 37 of the emphasized cases in the nation are linked to travels outside Oman, and the epidemiological investigation is ongoing for the remaining two cases.
