Saudi bank loans granted to public, private sectors increase 8 percent
(MENAFN) Data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed that, by the end of January 2020, Saudi bank loans granted to the public and private sectors rose 8 percent yearly to SAR 1.622 trillion in comparison with SAR 1.496 in 2019.
Also, for January, private sector lending increased 9 percent yearly as well to SAR 1.565 trillion.
In the meantime, the worth of loans provided to the public sector grew by 5 percent yearly to SAR 57.9 billion by the end of January.
