(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin met on Saturday with HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, on the sidelines of the 5th Qatari and Kazakh High-Level Joint Committee, which concluded its meetings in Nur-Sultan.
The meeting dealt with enhancing bilateral co-operation in the commerce, investment, and industrial fields.
Al-Kuwari also met separately with Minister of National Economy of Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Dalenov; governor of Astana International Financial Centre Dr Kairat Kelimbetov; Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov and Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov.
The meetings focused bilateral co-operation, reviewing developments of the Qatari economy in recent years, investment opportunities in all fields, investment incentives and legislations adopted by Qatar which included the law regulating foreign investment in the economy, in addition to the initiatives launched to support the private sector and increase foreign direct investments.
