China-Vietnam diplomatic friendship celebrates its 70th anniversary

The need to promote the development of China-Vietnam relations in the new era has been stressed by the head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Song Tao.
Amid a visit from Monday to Wednesday to Vietnam on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, Song has revealed his remarks.
He stressed that "China-Vietnam ties are essentially the relations between two socialist countries under the leadership of communist parties".
China's taking the opportunity offered by the 70th anniversary of the ties between the two countries to boost the relations in the new era and to promote the traditional China-Vietnam friendship, said Tao.
