Kuwait denies using its military bases to carry out attacks in a neighboring country
(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Jan 5: Kuwait denied using any military bases to carry out attacks against specific targets in a neighboring country. The Army Chief of Staff denied the validity of the information circulated in some media and social media of false information about the use of Kuwaiti military bases to carry out the attacks, stressing that Kuwaiti bases were not used in these operations reports AlRai.
Earlier two former MPs said some Iraqi militia groups have claimed that the US drone was used to kill Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was launched from Kuwait. Ex Islamist MP Osama Al-Munawer warned to remain vigilant as situation in the region has turned grave after an Iraqi militia directly accused Kuwait of involvement in the killing of Soleimani.
