Somaliland: Hadia Medical Swiss in Fight Against FGM

(MENAFN- Somali Land Sun) Somalilandsun - Hadia Medical Swiss aims to support the fight against female genital mutilation throughout Somaliland and improve medical care for mothers and newborns.

Hadia entered into cooperations with D.Sc. Edna Adan Ismai l, who has been fighting genital circumcision for 50 years, and from the University Hospital Basel.

Hadia Medical Swiss , together with its partners, focuses on two areas:

Training and further education of medical personnel and technicians and
Improvement of the infrastructure and functionality of selected hospitals

In the sense of helping people to help themselves, local projects are strengthened in all projects and work is always carried out together with them.
