4 lives claimed in Chinese tunnel collapse

Local authorities in Shanxi province of China said on Tuesday that a tunnel which was still under construction has collapsed in the province has resulted in the death of 4 people and left 2 others trapped in the rubble.
The publicity authorities in Jincheng city in the province said that the incident took place at about 4 pm of local time on Monday at a tunnel on a highway in the city, leaving 6 workers trapped.
One of the trapped people has been saved and transported to the closest hospital but died later on Monday of his injuries, rescuers were able to obtain the bodies of three more decreased victims from the disaster site by 7:50 am on Tuesday.
Around 200 cubic meters of rubble was blocking the tunnel, search and rescue missions are still ongoing.
