20 deaths in Somalia clan fights

An official said that 20 people died and around 25 were wounded on Monday as a fierce clash broke out in Mudug region of Somalia.
Mudug region Governor, Abdirahman Ali Diriye, said that inter clan clashes started at Towfiq village in Mudug region between 2 clans over land disputes.
He was quoted saying that "The fight started after one of the clans launched an attack in revenge for past killings. There was a stiff battle between two militias and 20 people, most of them from the warring sides died during the clashes and 25 others were injured".
Adding that "We are now dispatching elders from the administration to cease the fight".
