Iran's lead, zinc production increases during Mar-Oct.
(MENAFN) A remarkable rise in Mineral mining and production by lead and zinc companies associated to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) during March 21-October 22, 2019.
The companies were Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex, Mehdiabad Lead and Zinc and Barite Mining Complex and Nakhlak Mineral Complex, according to IMIDRO's website.
In the mentioned period, Mehdiabad Lead and Zinc and Barite Mining Complex mined 306,828 tons of the minerals, indicating a 267-percent rise compared to the figure for the same period last year, which stood at 83,714 tons.
The figure shows that the complex was 119 percent ahead of its production target set for the seven-month period to October 22, 2019, which was 140,000 tons.
