Al-Sisi: Gulf security integral to Egypt's national security


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdulfatah Al-Sisi has reiterated that security of the Arabian Gulf region is integral to Egypt's national security.
This remark was made by the Egyptian leader during his reception of visiting Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa in the presidential palace in Cairo on Thursday.
The talks tackled the latest regional developments, crises in Arab countries and the efforts exerted to combat extremism and terrorism, Egypt's Presidency Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a press statement.
They also discussed countering foreign interference in Arab internal affairs and finding peaceful solutions to the regional crises.
The two leaders welcomed the Saudi-mediated agreement between the Yemen government and Southern Transitional Council. (end)
