(MENAFN) On Monday, as many as 30 suspected terrorists were murdered during a fight with Burkina Faso's armed forces in Gorgadji locality in the northern Sahelian region of the nation, the national television RTB reported Tuesday.
During the battle, many soldiers sustained wounds, the fight occurred in northern region of the terrorist-attack-torn nation, according to the RTB.
Four years ago, Burkina Faso has started to face a series of terrorist attacks, which resulted in the killing of over 500 people and more than over 280,000 displaced including over 9,000 students.
In the recent days, the nation has seen increase in terrorist attacks, which sparked panic that forced people in the region to leave their home for safer places in the nation.
