Talabat ties up with Carrefour to start online grocery service in Oman

Talabat and Carrefour have joined forces to allow customers to do their grocery shopping on the food delivery app.
With Talabat being one of the most frequently-used apps in the region, this innovation drives further convenience for users in Oman.
Talabat's partnership with Carrefour is also the first time a food delivery platform in the region has offered a complete grocery delivery option. The new service is available under a new filter card named 'Grocery'.
Since the launch of Carrefour on Talabat, the platform has seen a growth in demand from customers in Oman for items including water, packaged snacks, dairy products, eggs, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.
Users will benefit from the platform's advanced network of delivery logistics, receiving their order of convenience groceries via Talabat 'Go riders' to their doorstep.
Commenting on the launch, Tatiana Rahal, Talabat's managing director in Oman, said, 'Our priority is always to fulfil our users' daily needs and delivering groceries is an exciting addition to our existing services.'

The service is now available on the Talabat app and website.
