Kuwaiti in India tries to travel with cancelled ticket
(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 22: A Kuwaiti got himself in trouble when he entered a 'passengers only' area using a canceled flight ticket at the Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport in Karnataka, India, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the Indian Deccan Herald, the 43-year-old Kuwaiti was arrested by airport police after receiving a communication from the Kuwait Airways station's traffic officer at the airport.
The newspaper said the traffic officer informed the police that the suspect tried to enter with members of his family to the hall designated for passengers only on the flight to Kuwait using a canceled ticket.
The newspaper quoting a police source said the defendant denied during interrogation that he wanted to travel with the canceled ticket, stressing that he only wanted to take his family members to the nearest possible point from the boarding gate and that he resorted to use the cancelled ticket.
