The award aims to promote the development of high-quality research and to encourage and support innovative initiatives of individuals, research teams, academic researchers, companies, and the small and medium size enterprises (SMEs).

It comprises two categories: the Scientific Publication Category in the Field of Water and the Innovations Category in the Field of Water. Winners will be awarded in March 2020. Interested people can apply, starting from September 18, through visiting TRC website (www.trc.gov.om), which includes the application conditions and criteria.
