Latvia to level up trade with Kazakhstan


(MENAFN) Latvia agreed with Kazakhstan to reinforce and accelerate their bilateral trade as well as economic cooperation.

Both countries are completely committed to start exploring potential collaboration between them within various areas, including trade and economy.

According to a Latvia Ministry of Foreign Affairs source, "today we can clearly say that Kazakhstan is an important trade partner of Latvia in Central Asia. Favorable political interaction provides for establishment of business contacts and development of economic cooperation overall."

The source further pointed out that last year, the value of bilateral trade between the two countries reached around USD121,756 million, with a forecast for greater increase in the future.
