(MENAFN) Turkish National Defense Ministry affirmed in a statement that three Turkish soilders were killed and seven more wounded on Sunday during Operation Claw 3 in northern Iraq.
The ministry emphasized that the casualties occurred after fierce battles erupted with PKK terrorists.
The statement stated that the wounded soldiers were rushed to a hospital.
It added that the operations in the area are still continuing.
