Jump in Egypt's G7 exports, imports


(MENAFN) Egypt registered a boost in its exports of products to members of the Group of Seven (G7) from January to June this year, standing at USD3.8 billion.

During the first half of 2018, Egyptian exports to G7 countries reached USD3.5 billion, noted the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

Most of Egypt's exports to G7 members went to the United States to account for USD1 billion, as unveiled CAPMAS in a statement.

CAPMAS added that the country also reported a surge in its imports from the G7 during the six month period to hit USD8.7 billion from last year's USD8.5 billion.
