Syrian regime conducts air attacks on Idlib, kills 5


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, five civilians were murdered and ten injured as a result of an air attacks conducted by the Assad regime and Russia in northwestern Syria, where a cease-fire is supposed to be in effect, affirmed the White Helmets civil defense agency.

The civil defense group emphasized that the positions included a hospital in the town of Tel Mannis, struck by Russian warplanes, resulting in the killing of a medical staff, the civil defense group affirmed.

Two people were murdered in the town of Bashiriyya and two in the towns of Tukh and Maarshiman in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

Last September, Turkey and Russia decided to turn Idlib into a de-escalation zone where acts of violence are considered banned.
