Air attack kills 2 Daesh members in Iraq's Diyala
(MENAFN) On Friday, two Daesh terrorists were murdered as a resuct of an air attack and two more were arrested in the eastern Diyala province, a provincial security official emphasized.
An Iraq warplane conducted an air attack on Daesh hideout close to Mteibijah area close to Diyala's provincial border with Salahudin province, Sadiq al-Husseini, head of the security committee of provincial council, informed Xinhua.
Al-Husseini stated that the air attack ended up with the murder of two of the Daesh terrorists.
Previously, the Iraqi security forces attempted to recapture Mteibijah, but the vast rugged land and mountains have made it hard for them to dislodge the radical militants from the region.
