Jordan- Higher Ministry Education warns of "fake university admissions abroad

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 7 (Petra)- The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has warned students wishing to study abroad not to deal with any unauthorized parties or persons, who allege to secure overseas university admissions, through advertisements or social networking sites.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the ministry called on students to check, whether the office they are dealing with is accredited and listed at: http://mohe.gov.jo/en/Pages/ServicesOffices.aspx, in order to preserve their rights.
In a related context, the ministry called on all students wishing to study abroad to check if the university they are planning to attend has its recognition.
The ministry also noted students can view the list of recognized universities, as per country through the link:
